Tweaks/Repairs

Updates so far...

Shock Absorbers

Tim used rope and bungee cords to build shock absorbers to keep Neliie May from jerking the dock in heavy waves.  They worked pretty good!  (click on the photos for larger view)

Canvas Cover for R21

We needed a canvas cover for our R21 since we store her outside in our cold South Dakota winters.  The guys at Len's Awning & Canvas in Sioux Falls, SD, made us a great canvas cover.  They kept our boat for awhile so they could measure and make the custom cover to fit her.  And they even made a door!  We told them we need to get into her to check systems in the winter and get the snow off the roof.  If you have an original R21 and need a cover we recommend these guys.

Canvas Cover for R25

Dave Hauck from King Marine Canvas met us at the factory/office in Kent, WA to get our input on the special Bimini cover we ordered for our new Ranger25.  We live in South Dakota where mosquitoes are pesky but nights are hot so we wanted screens in the walls instead of solid walls.  And we needed a winter cover with a zip door so we could get in and out of the boat in our cold SD winters to check on systems and push snow off the cover.  Dave took notes and delivered exactly what we needed.
